Soundtrack to My Life "There's a Fine, Fine Line"
My friend Dyann sent this to me on Facebook and I have been a lazy blogger this week so I'm posting it again here (with apologies to Loyal Readers who read this already.)
This was actually fun...and a bit embarrassing. Please don't judge, my taste in songs is, well, eclectic at best. But it turns out that your iPod is a bit like a Magic 8 ball, who knew?
Here are the rules:
1. Put your iTunes on shuffle.
2. For each question, press the next button to get your answer.
3. YOU MUST WRITE THAT SONG NAME DOWN NO MATTER HOW SILLY IT SOUNDS!

WHAT WOULD BEST DESCRIBE YOUR PERSONALITY?
"Defying Gravity" from the "Wicked" soundtrack

WHAT DO YOU WANT TO BE WHEN YOU GROW UP?

WHAT DO YOU THINK WHEN YOU SEE THE PERSON YOU LIKE?

How fun! I suppose I'll have to drag myself into the new millennium at some point and buy an ipod. And don't at all feel bad about your taste in music. I like most of the songs mentioned. Actually there weren't any mentioned that I didn't like, just a few I haven't heard.
I had to laugh when I saw "Defying Gravity" from Wicked. Last year, Noreen and I were visiting our sister Pat and her family one weekend. One evening, a large amount of wine was consumed while a rather eclectic mix of music was being played on the house sound system. Our niece and brother-in-law decided to burn CDs of all the songs they were playing for us and dedicated it as "The Aunties Mix." "Defying Gravity" was one of the songs, along with stuff like "Before He Cheats" by Carrie Underwood, "When New York Was Irish" by Shilelagh Law, "Red Neck Woman" by Gretchen Wilson, and "Kiss Me, I'm Shitfaced" by The Dropkick Murphys (I did mention a LARGE amount of wine was consumed that night?). There were several other songs as well. It was a particularly fun evening and whenever I hear one of the songs, including Defying Gravity, it always makes me smile.
Talking about this has inspired me to go add some Irish songs to my playlist in honor of St. Patrick's Day next week.
Keep up the fun blogs, Shae, you always get me thinking about something!! :)
Maura-
I need some Irish on my iPod too. I'm going to try corning my own corned beef this year for St. Patty's. You have to brine it for eight days so I have to get it started on Monday. (And seriously, get yourself an iPod, I swear you won't regret it!)
I'm glad you enjoyed this little game/exercise, per se. I liked it too! You have some great stuff on your iPOD! I'm very eclectic when it comes to my music, so we get along just fine..
Irish stuff...hmm. I'll have to do a search.
